Bar Systems
The Bar and line systems for 2004 have undergone further refinement and we
now offer 4 bar systems. The bar system has been improved with the new
plastic insert to eliminate chicken rope wear, and all systems incorporate
the famous Airush sheeting system.
 The Trio bar utilizes our custom aluminum tapered bar, 25m Dyneema flying
lines, the standard re-ride relaunch system with wrist leash and the quick
release safety chicken loop.
The Flow and Lift bars come with 30m Air-line flying lines and utilize the
Re-Ride relaunch system. The supplied safety leash and quick release chicken
loop system allows the rider to change the setup to match their style of
riding and their personal safety preferences; You can either ride with your
chicken loop and leash locked to your harness hook allowing easy bar spins,
while still retaining all the aspects of a safety leash and quick release
system. Or you can attach the leash to your wrist and have the flexibility
of hooking in and out of the chicken loop.
The Lift Pro bar comes with all the customizable safety leash and quick
release chicken loop features from the Flow and Lift bars, but has the
increased performance of the Pro Re-Ride system. The Pro Re-Ride system uses
shorter leader lines to minimize drag and to increase overall performance.
The Air-line used by Airush in the 2003 season has proved an exceptional
performer, half the diameter of normal kite line together with virtually
zero stretch and very low drag allowing for exceptional response and
efficiency. This year the Flow, Lift and Lift Pro bars use this line.
 Power Glide bar
If your looking for simple smooth ease in flying then look no further than a
pulley bar. The simple action of the pulley allows the turning of a 4 line
kite to move in the motion intended, this motion also increases turning
response of the kite. The Power Glide bar is by far the hottest thing out in
kiteboarding accessories. The Airush Power Glide bar is also made with our
own designed pull-pull sheeting system, the only sheeting system that makes
letting in and out in small increments a cinch.
 Bar bag
These bar bags are designed to allow your bar to Dry with ease and full
zippered cover quick and easy use. When you depend on such a piece of
equipment as your bar, don't hesitate to take care of it and reduce the UV
radition.
 Kite Weight Bag
One of those simple things every kiter shouldn't be without. Made with
Simple but strong Velcro closer to allow the removal or replacement of sand
or rocks for weight, handles at each and make carrying a sentch. Can be
easily weighted for self launching of any kite. Made from Very Tough
ruberized raft typle material for long life and durability.
 Safety Wrist Leash
The unique Airush wrist leash is designed to be safe, comfortable and easy
to use. The wristband, with its semi-rigid cuffed shape, can be attached to
the wrist with one hand. The leash is made of supple webbing with an
internal bungy that accordions the leash to eliminate flapping and tangling.
As a backup safety system a release pin, once pulled, completely frees the
rider from the kite, bar and line. This leash can be used with any kite bar
safety system. It includes a wristband, leash, release pin and swivel.
 Harness Lines
Airush Standard Harness Line is attached by two Velcro closures to the kite
bar. It is most commonly used with an Air Loop (or chicken loop), but works
well on all bar setups and systems. This line is stiffer than a windsurfing
harness line, with shorter Velcro closures to accommodate the smaller
diameter kite bars .
Lengths: 16", 17", 18".
Airush Mono Harness Line is attached by one Velcro closure and positioned in
the center of the kite bar. It is made extra stiff, so that it does not flap
around. Consequently it always maintains its position on the bar for easy
hook ins.
Lengths: 13.25", 14.25", 15.25".
Airush Mono Swivel Harness Line is attached by one Velcro closure and
positioned in the center of the kite bar. The swivel version allows a rider
to untwist their fly lines while remaining hooked into the harness. Unlike
other swivel lines, the Airush Swivel always locks in place after turning
for easy hook ins. This harness line is for advanced riders only that do not
use a wrist leach. It is not compatible with all safety systems.

 Airush Grab Holds
For enhanced grip during board off tricks or a convenient way to carry your
board.
Supplied with every Switch, Compact and Misfit board are four adhesive
backed, dual density EVA grab holds. To suit your personal style, glue the
EVA grab holds anywhere on you board.
 Expandable kite sleeves
Light weight simple kite sleeves made with Screen along one side with simple
elastic that allows the bag to automatically expand for a range of kites.
 Trainer Kite
Trainer kites are an absolute necessity for beginners and helpful to anyone
wanting to learn to kiteboard. The 2-meter is ideal for most people wanting
to learn the basics in moderate winds. The 3-meter is recommended for those
who want to experience significant power. A safety wrist leash is provided
with the 3-meter kite. Both kites are packaged with a kite bar, lines and
carrying case.
Mistakes made on a trainer kite usually result in little consequence.
However a mistake made with a full size kiteboarding kite quite possibly
result in harm to yourself and others, or damage your kite which could be
avoided by learning on a trainer kite. After you learn, trainer kites make a
great teaching tool for friends who want to learn down the road.
 Mauricio Abreu Pro Model binding
The Mauricio Abreu Pro Binding has been completely reengineered from the
base plate up. The plate is lighter with more adjustability and incorporates
a more cushioned foot bed. After rigorous testing, we found the perfect
combination of foam layers and double overlays to achieve the ultimate fit.
Each layer of this system serves a specific function. The foam layers extend
higher on the shin than last year, providing greater support when riding
fast and edging hard. This new foam height has proved essential in achieving
maximum lateral support needed for the big jumps. The interior layer of foam
creates a very snug fit with heel kidneys, while remaining extremely
comfortable for those long kiting sessions. The outer foam layer has the
ideal foam density to maintain comfort while maximizing support. The double
overlay increases support while allowing proper flex. A heel lock down strap
that uses a Quick Ladder Lock System has been added to secure the whole
deal. All these features have been added to increase support and performance
while maintaining our principal of easy binding entry. The Result - the
ultimate fit with outrageous performance.
 X-wrap binding
The X-Wrap is a second-generation kiteboard binding which can be attached
to your foot with one hand only.
The gradual layer combination system allows the binding to be easy and
comfortable to step-in/out of yet remain supportive. A selection of softer
internal EVA increases comfort. Special flex areas and kidneys are used to
allow the X-Wrap to adapt to individual feet, and to open up more for an
easier entry. A denser, structurally supportive EVA backs the softer inside,
on to which pre-shaped PU reinforcements are laid to give strength and
support in the most ergonomic fashion. You get more direct board control,
more edging ability and more boost.
The final layer is the outer rip-proof contour wrap, built to last in a
trimmed, lightweight EVA/Lycra laminate. The contour wrap uses a lace set-up
on the front that can be pre-set, allowing a one handed, single action
movement to secure your feet: pull the top Velcro strap and your heel locks
in, giving a bombproof snowboard freestyle feeling.
An ultra-light base-plate with extra large stiffeners contribute to keep the
X-Wrap the lightest binding available.
 Heel Support Strap
Keeps your feet in the straps on a Switch or a Switch Pro.
 Kite Sandal
The Airush kite-sandal fits the Airush Wakestyle kiteboards and Switch /
Switch Pro models. The kite-sandals include a rigid 2/3 alloy plate with a 3
dimensional EVA footbed fitted over.
The footbed sports a contoured heel shape that allows for better edging and
increased lateral support. A toe-ramp reduces fatigue and prevents the feet
from slipping forwards whilst an arch cookie provides additional ergonomics
and grip.
The wide, adjustable and asymmetrical footstrap is most comfortable , lined
in neoprene and supported rigidly by high density EVA.
Both lighter and safer than conventional high-wrap bindings, the kite-sandal
offers more grip, control and comfort than footstraps alone.
 Grab Handles
Rigid: The Rigid Grab Handle is exceptionally light, formed out of
EVA/Aluminium plate sandwich compression. Added rigidity gives a more direct
control of the kiteboard while handling board-off tricks.
Soft version: The lightweight Airush Soft Grab Handle, made in reinforced
EVA and neoprene, is most suitable for Fusion style boards when the handle
can be stepped on during jibes.

Board Bag
These all new Airush kiteboard bags are designed to protect your kiteboard
from general transport abuse, sand and sun.
With a tail-entry design that offers more protection of the kiteboard rails,
the board bags also feature reflective silver panels to reduce the inside
temperature that could otherwise cause delamination of the board. The large
side-pocket neatly allows for kite-bar storage, extra lines, screwdrivers
and other accessory items.

 Impact Vest
The lightweight Airush impact vest provides protection and safety with
complete freedom of movement. The sleek profile design stays out of the way
of your harness and ability to hook in. With a clean finish there is nothing
for lines to tangle or catch onto.
The Vest is an essential piece of safety gear for pros and newbies,
providing protection for impacts and added floatation when learning. The
Impact Vest is not a certified life jacket.
 Leash Loop
The Airush leash loop is a simple device that attaches itself either under
the footstrap, the fin bolts or one of the inserts, allowing the safety
leash to be positioned according to the rider's preference.
 Air Sock
If you have trouble figuring out where the wind is coming from or how strong
it is blowing, then we?d suggest getting an AirSock. Available in many
colours to match your kite...
 Lycra T-shirt
Made in 80% Nylon 20% Spandex material, the Airush Lycra T-shirts offer
protection from rashes and sunlight. In hot weather conditions, the T-shirts
keep you cool and in cold weather conditions, under a wetsuit, the lycra
forms an additional insulating layer.
